We will divide the procedure to take a scroll capture on Samsung Galaxy S8 as in each type of steps. There are two ways that you can choose to take a screenshot and one way only to take scroll capture. For the screenshot, you can choose the traditional way or the palm gesture.
Traditional way instructions:
- Display the content that you want to capture.
- Press and hold the “Volume Down” and the Power buttons at the same time.
- Wait for a second, and you will see that the phone is capturing your displayed screen and save it to your storage.
Using palm gesture
- Go to your Settings menu
- Tap Advanced Features
- Choose the Palm Swipe to Capture
- And switch it on by tap the toggle.

- To use the palm gesture, extend your palm and swipe the whole screen. Do this with the side of your hand.
